B&W film days. Everything is worth a second look in good times as well as bad times. Its time to pass on items to others that have use for them rather than watching them waste away.

Building The Motor City
Going Home
Another photo from my B&W film days. The photo from yesterday and today are from the same place. Going Home is from a abandon building that held Detroit public school books and supplies. The building had a fire and now just sits vacant with mounds of burnt books and supplies. Sometimes people don’t understand how many people they hurt by their actions.
Now I don’t spend as much time with abandon buildings as I have in the past. I work on photos showing change in Detroit. Detroit has been changing for the better and advancing towards a brighter future. The changes are great to see and always something new around the corner. I look forward to the day that Detroit becomes the city it was meant to be. So I should change as well and shoot photos of how great the city of Detroit is and becoming day by day. The abandon buildings are still around but slowly fading away. Its time for property owners to be held responsible.
YOU!
YOU! This is a photo is from the film days. I still think about pulling out my old film camera to go out shooting. Those where the days that I looked forward to the darkroom to experiment, and to develop film and photos right there. Now I am all digital its fun and you get to see the results right away and then they sit on the computer. Both film and digital photography have pluses and minuses. Either way it is about capturing that specific moment in time that caught your eye.
